Vampire Diaries Season 1 Episode 14 "Fool Me Once"

SECRETS OF THE TOMB

Stefan (Paul Wesley) helps Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Bonnie (Katerina Graham) out of a dangerous situation. Jeremy (Steve R. McQueen) asks Anna (guest star Malese Jow) to a party in the woods, unaware that she has her own reasons for wanting to meet him there.

When Stefan, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena work with Bonnie and Grams (guest star Jasmine Guy) to open the tomb, everyone is shocked by what they discover. Candice Accola, Zach Roerig and Michael Trevino also star.

1. Elena and Bonnie woke up to find themselves kidnapped by Anna and Ben.
2. Stefan pleaded with Damon for his help in finding Elena and finally took the blame for Katherine's demise.
3. Damon boldly states his death wish for Elena.
4. Elena confessed to Bonnie about Anna and Ben's plan to open the tomb - they needed a witch and Elena was the leverage.
5. Tyler made his return - "asshatery" and all. Matt asked him if he ever gets tired of himself. We assume the answer is no.
6. Caroline invited Jeremy to a party in the woods.
7. Caroline also gave Matt an "escape clause" out of fear of Matt not wanting to stick around.
8. Damon visited Gram and she was not too pleased. She demonstrated her powers by giving Damon a pain in the head (at least that's what it looked like).
9. Anna confided in Elena that her mother is in the tomb and that's what she's after.
10. She also gave Stefan an ultimatum - the grimoire for Elena's life.
11. Bonnie showed off some of her powers by setting Ben's arm on fire. The escape was short lived as Ben was able to grab Elena before they could get through the door.
12. Jeremy invited Anna to the party. She agreed after learning its whereabouts - the cemetary near the tomb.
13. Anna met Damon in the town square to plead for his help and to get her hands on the grimoire. He reluctantly agreed to help, but didn't bring the book.
14. With Gram's help, Stefan found Elena and Bonnie in the hotel room. He warned Ben to leave town or he'll kill him.
15. Gram agreed to help open the tomb under the condition that the others vampires are burned.
16. Elena visited Damon to try and get him to go along with their plan. They eventually came to an understanding and she promised to help him get his love, Katherine, back.
17. Damon, Stefan, Grams, Elena and Bonnie all met up at the tomb. Stefan brought enough gasoline to set the whole town on fire.
18. At the party Tyler furter harassed Jeremy by making fun of his lack of friends.
19. Anna showed up and goes for a walk with Jeremy. He officially asked her out, but she told him she's leaving. The two shared a kiss that set off her vampire instincts. Right on que Ben stepped in and bonked Jeremy over the head, knocking him out.
20. Damon brought a blood pack for Katherine to feed on as the witches began the ceremony.
21. Back at the party, Matt feared that Caroline might be too clingy. She explained she wanted to show off Matt to Damon because he was always a jerk (surprise!).
22. As Bonnie and Grams continued to open the tomb, Damon ventured inside to find Katherine.
23. While Stefan gots the gasoline ready, he was confronted by Ben. Long story short, Stefan sets him on fire...with a flamethrower.
24. Elena agreed to follow Damon inside to ensure Grams and Bonnie couldn't do anything sneaky. Elena found herself lost in the tomb surrounded by the starved vampires. She was shortly confronted by Anna who bit her wrist and fedher blood to her mother. Pearl awakened and the two reunited.
25. Grams explained to Stefan that she opened the tomb but the seal will keep any vampire inside. She reminded him that she was protecting her own first.
26. When Stefan entered the tomb to save Elena, Bonnie insisted her and Gram bring down the seal to allow him to leave.
27. Damon was furious to find that Katherine was not in the tomb. He threw his pack of blood against the wall, splattering it everywhere.
28. As Grams and Bonnie brought down the seal, Anna and her mother left. While the two are powerful witches, they couldn't hold it for long. Elena plead with the brothers to leave before they were to be stuck there for an eternity.
29. The three emerged in the nick of time, but Damon was still beyond devastated.
30. Back home, Jeremy searched for Vampires on the web. He must have had a suspicion about Anna.
31. The whole tomb ordeal took a major toll on Grams. When Bonnie brought her a cup of tea, she found her in bed, not breathing. While it hasn't been confirmed for sure, the outlook is rather grim for Grams.
32. Damon confronted Anna and her mother about Katherine's whereabouts. He learned that the guard of the church let her go because he was obssessed with her. She promised to turn him and was last seen in Chicago back in 1983. All along she has known where Damon was, but didn't care.
33. Back at the tomb, one of the vampires got a hold of Damon's blood pack and emerged. Judging by the recent casting news, we're assuming it's Harper (played by Sterling Sulieman). He's the sexy union soldier!
